Milan Peschel, Minh-Khai Phan-Thi, Benito Bause and Maryam Zaree play the two couples who have to come to terms with each other as new neighbors in the new ZDFneo comedy series with the working title "Doppelhaushälfte" (Twin Houses). Eight episodes make up the first season, which will be filmed in Kleinmachnow until mid-July and will then be shown next year on ZDFneo and in the ZDF Mediathek.

"Doppelhaushälfte" (Half of a twin house) is a German comedy series of the channel ZDF neo, which was first broadcast in 2022. The 3rd season of the hit series is currently (2023) being filmed. Dennis Schanz and Luis Singer are the responsible producers. For the first season the scripts were written by Dennis Schanz and Christoph Mushayija Rath, both are directing together with Barbara Kronenberg and Florian Dietrich.

Plot: The residents of the twin houses in the countryside are separated from each other by more than just the garden fence. On the one hand the freshly moved blended family from the city lives, on the other hand the long-established villagers. The side by side turns out to be explosive togetherness, shaped by prejudices, distrust and worldviews that could not be further apart. And yet the two families have to and want to come to terms with each other. With all their differences, or worse, their terrifying similarities.
