2018, it was announced that production preparations were underway for the new series "Der Bulle und das Biest" (The Cop and the Beast). It comes from the production company Bantry Bay Productions and is being produced with the involvement of TV producer Gerda Müller, among others. Plot: Two alpha animals on the hunt for criminals: Bullmastiff Rocky was supposed to be euthanized after he attacked inspector Elias Decker during a mission. But Elias quickly realizes that the beast can put him on the right track in tricky murder cases. And so the tense relationship between man and dog begins with a bite-firm "magic moment". Together with Elias' partner Caro (Franziska Wulf), the two daredevils prove they have the right nose for solving hairy murder cases.
