The film is an adaptation of the bestseller thriller novel "Abgeschnitten" (Cut Off) by Sebastian Fitzek. For several months a selected team of special effect artists (SFX) worked for this project and they made body dummies of some actors besides single parts of bodies, wounds and organs. The making of photos are not for the faint-hearted ;)
